A program in solidarity with the people of Iran in Örebro

The Iranian Political Prisoners Association (in Exile) – Örebro/Sweden Branch held a program in Örebro on February 19, 2010, in solidarity with the struggles of the Iranian people. The program was held in both Persian and Swedish. The program’s host, Amneh Kakavand, a member of the Swedish Left Party, spoke in Swedish about the lack of freedom and the freedom of parties in Iran, and said that Iranian workers had repeatedly tried to establish their own independent organizations, but each time they were suppressed by the Iranian government and the Revolutionary Guards. The other two speakers on the program were Hossein Moghadam and Ahmad Mousavi, and at the end of the program, Mostafa Gerkinpour and his musician companion Massoud performed a few songs.
