On Tuesday evening, April 29, 2025, the Islamic regime of Iran hanged Mohsen Langarneshin in Qezel Hessar Prison, adding another crime to its 46-year-old black record. The Islamic regime, which is unable to confront the destructive act of the Zionist regime of Israel and find the infiltrators of this criminal regime, in order to cover up its intelligence weakness, arrests people who have no connection with Israel and its operations on Iranian soil and forces them to accept the charges attributed to them through medieval torture.<\/p>\n

Mohsen Langarneshin was at the same time being accused of spying for Israel. He was accused, among other things, of providing logistical support for the attack on an industrial center affiliated with the Ministry of Defense and the assassination of IRGC Colonel Hossein Sayyad Khodai. In an audio file released from prison, Mohsen Langarneshin denied the charges and said he was forced to confess to the charges.<\/p>\n

The Langarneshin parents had their last meeting with their son on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, hours before he was executed. Mohsen\u2019s family and parents spent all Tuesday night in front of Prison. They had been told that their son would be executed on Tuesday evening, April 29, 2025.<\/p>\n\n

Mohsen Langarneshin was 34 years old and from Nowshahr in Mazandaran Province. Abolghasem Salavati, head of Branch 15 of the Islamic Revolution Court in Tehran, had sentenced him to death on charges of espionage.<\/p>\n

The Association of Iranian Political Prisoners (in exile) strongly condemns the execution of Mohsen Langarneshin. The IRI should know that the people will not remain silent in the face of these crimes. For this reason, it kills to frighten the people not to rising up against its crimes and brutalities and to overthrow it. The day will not be long before the masses of the Iranian people will bring all the criminals of the Islamic Republic, from top to bottom, to trial in fair courts that they establish, for the countless crimes they committed during their rule.<\/p>\n

The Association of Iranian Political Prisoners (in exile) is opposed to the death penalty in any form and under any pretext and fights to dismantle this medieval and inhumane sentence. The Association believes that the struggle to end repression, torture, executions and every inhuman and heinous act is inseparable from the struggle to overthrow the Islamic Republic.<\/p>\n
