The news was short: They killed Delaware.
The ruling criminals quickly took action to kill Mohsen Shekari, the brave son and hero of the Iranian people. It took seventy days from the date of his arrest until he was killed. He was first tortured and, as an example to others, sentenced to death in a mock trial and executed in secret.
The dirty Islamic Republic of Iran has thought in vain that by executing the imprisoned youth, it can suppress the uprising and prevent its overthrow. The regime ruling Iran should know that it no longer has a place in Iran. The people in Iran have awakened and become aware, and with the execution of each of their children, their hatred and anger will increase, and their will to dismantle the integrity of the Islamic Republic and to crush the bureaucratic military machine and its repression and execution will become more determined.
The criminal Islamic Republic of Iran knows that this time is different from January 1996 and November 1998, and that the people’s struggle is of a revolutionary nature, and that is why the degree of violence it uses is much greater. Violence and executions are no longer effective. With each person it executes, it increases the people’s anger and accelerates its inevitable death. Killing people in the streets and in prison is a sign of weakness, not strength. Killing defenseless people is not a sign of authority. Resorting to such measures shows how helpless the Islamic Republic is in the face of the people’s revolutionary uprising. That is why it has resorted to executions and is acting swiftly to prevent millions of people from joining the revolutionaries in the streets.
The murderous Islamic Republic must know that the execution of each of our imprisoned loved ones is a call to action for the Iranian people, both at home and abroad. They will come to you and make your life miserable by occupying the streets and striking, with whatever tools they have and in whatever way they can. This is the only way to protect the lives of our imprisoned loved ones and overthrow this dirty and criminal system.
The Iranian Political Prisoners Association (in exile) strongly condemns the murder of Mohsen Shekari and extends its condolences to his family and the Iranian people, especially the young generation, who are standing with full authority against the Islamic Republic’s machine of repression.
May his memory be cherished!
