Dear comrade
Peace of mind
He will not forget your name.
Today
Your children
The continuation of your name
The echo of your scream
Striving for the path to tomorrow
The path that was taken away from you halfway
I welcome all of you, my dears.
We begin the 22nd anniversary program with a minute of applause in remembrance and in commemoration of the thousands of men and women who were sent to death squads in the prisons of the Islamic Republic regime in the 1960s and beyond.
Next, a short film about the historic protests of the Iranian people will be shown.
The speakers for the 22nd year program are Leila Danesh, Leila Qaleh Bani, and Gita Rostam Alipour, all family members of the victims. Gita Rostam Alipour will speak about her “memories and family experiences” regarding the execution of three of her family members. Leila Qaleh Bani will speak about “The Psychological and Social Impact of the Killings on Families,” and Leila Danesh will speak about “Repression, Violence, and Political Freedoms.”
After the lectures, we will have a twenty-minute break.
After the break, a short film of the family gathering in Khavaran will be shown.
Iman Shirali, representing the campaign to prepare an international tribunal to try the regime for crimes against humanity, will give a brief speech about the tribunal and its progress.
In the next part of the program, Shahroz Rashid will recite poetry. Unfortunately, Ziba Karbasi was unable to travel to Stockholm due to illness. In the message that you will hear, she explains why she was unable to participate in the program and also dedicates a poem to you, my dears.
Gisso Shakeri, with her lovely voice, will be the last guest on this program.
