Message from the Iranian Political Prisoners Association (in exile)
To the Communist Party of Iran, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the party’s founding.

The Communist Party of Iran was founded in September 1983 by the merger of several Iranian leftist organizations, the main force of which was the Komeleh. Forty years have passed since then. In these forty years, the Communist Party went through a period of ups and downs in its struggle against the Islamic Republic and for socialism, and lost a large number of its members and cadres. Today, we have gathered in this assembly to honor their memory.
The Iranian Political Prisoners Association (in exile) congratulates the leadership, cadres, and members of the Communist Party of Iran on the 40th anniversary of its founding, and honors the memory of the party’s fighters who lost their dear lives in the struggle against the Islamic Republic and for the liberation of the suffering and oppressed masses of Iran and the establishment of socialism and a new society.
