The Islamic Republic has sentenced three women to death; Sharifeh Mohammadi, Pakhshan Azizi, and Varisheh Moradi. Of course, this is not the first time that the Islamic regime of Iran has sentenced women to death. In the 1980s, the Islamic Republic sentenced hundreds of young women and girls to death in a matter of minutes after medieval torture without a trial, without the right to defend themselves, without a lawyer, without observing legal standards and principles of justice.
.
It is now clear to everyone, not only the people of Iran, but to the entire world, that the court in the Islamic Republic is nothing more than a Lawlessness tool of oppression in the hands of the IRI. The IRI is even more shameful for thinking that it can use the name of the court to sentence the brave and courageous children of the people of Iran to death and justify their murder; children who have done nothing but defending the honor and human dignity of the masses of the Iranian people against an extremely repressive and criminal regime, and standing by the people and defending their interests and rights.
.
The people will not leave their children alone, who have been taken hostage by the executioners of the IRI and want to take revenge on people by killing their children and create fear among them so that they do not complete their unfinished work in the revolutionary movement of “Women Life Freedom.”
.
In unison with the Iranian masses of the people, the masses of working people of Iran, in line with the National Union of Workers and Pensioners, the Pensioners of Rasht, Ahvaz and Sanandaj, we call on freedom loving Iranians in Stockholm to attend an event that the Council for Support of the Freedom Struggles of the Iranian People and the activists of the Left and Communist Cooperation Council will hold in protest of the death sentence of Sharifeh Mohammadi and other political prisoners who have been sentnced to death by the IRI , at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm.
.
The death sentence in any form and under any pretext is an attack on the right to human life and must be stopped and abolished. The death sentence of Sharifeh Mohammadi is not only a clear attack on the right to life of a working-class woman and the women’s movement activist, but also a clear message of repression against the people and any trade union and social protest in Iran.
