The Islamic Republic has cut off all means of communication between the people of Iran and the outside world, including the internet and telephone networks, in order to kill and repress into silence. Shocking reports have emerged of the massacre of the Iranian people by the criminal Islamic regime of Iran.
.
Horrifying news and images continue to come out of Iran, revealing the mass killing of people by the executioners and obedient mercenaries of the Islamic Republic. Images from the Kahrizak grounds of the Tehran Legal Medicine Organization have reached the outside world, showing heartbreaking scenes of countless bodies of freedom-seeking individuals, laid side by side in plastic bags. These victims are part of the large-scale massacre carried out in Dey 1404 (January 2026) in Iran.
.
According to the latest figures received from inside Iran, the number of those killed is estimated to be between 700 and 3,400. These figures include only those deaths that have been documented. The real number of victims is undoubtedly far higher than current estimates. The number of detainees is extremely high; various human rights sources in Iran report estimates ranging from 13,000 to 20,000 arrested. The number of injured, given the scale and brutality of the savage attacks carried out by the mercenaries of the criminal Islamic Republic regime against unarmed and defenseless freedom-loving people across Iran, is estimated to be in the thousands.
.
Eighteen days have passed since the start of nationwide protests in Iran. The perseverance and courage of millions of people standing up to the Islamic Republic and its vast apparatus of repression have been unparalleled. Empty-handed, they have confronted a deeply criminal, ruthless, and heavily armed regime backed by tens of thousands of Iranian and non-Iranian mercenaries. They have kept the movement alive and standing to this point and remain determined to achieve victory.
However, final victory requires political general strikes, the responsibility for which rests on the working class, particularly workers in key industries such as oil, gas, ports, and transportation—industries the Islamic Republic relies on to sustain its disgraceful survival and maintain its machinery of repression.
.
The people who have taken to the streets, risking their lives, expect oil, gas, port, and transportation workers at this critical moment to fulfill their historic and decisive role by halting the production, distribution, and export of oil and gas. By doing so, they can break the backbone of the regime and bring an end to forty-seven years of repression, bloodshed and suffering of the people.
.
By joining the people’s revolutionary movement, workers in these industries will also play a crucial role in preventing the revolution from being derailed by forces whose sole ambition is to come to power in Iran riding on the imperialist bombs of the United States.
.
The Association of Iranian Political Prisoners (in Exile) strongly condemns the massacre of freedom-loving people of Iran by the criminal Islamic Republic regime and bows in respect before the bravery and heroism of the people in this unequal struggle against the savage Islamic Republic. The people of Iran should know that they are creating a new historic era for the country.
